But it wasn't until the late 40s and mid-50s that DeWalt started to be recognised as a reputable brand.

They also expanded over to Canada and opened big manufacturing plants. This increased the production of many different tools as well as power tools which were first introduced later on in the early 90s. Today DeWalt makes all kinds of and power tools to make your DIY projects more manageable and less stressful. This is where they've also invented their own two series of products the TSTAK and ToughSystem.

With so many tools being made nowadays - both hand and power-operated – there is a much higher demand for storage systems. The TSTAK is exactly that. This is the upgraded version of the DeWalt ToughSystem. The flexible DeWalt TSTAK line of products makes up for a strong and easy to use storage system. These are a series of cases that interlock with each other.

The advantage of the TSTAK is that it makes it a lot easier to sort out your tools. By stacking the different TSTAK products you get to choose where to store different types of tools. You don't have to put everything in one place like you would in a toolbox.

The TSTAK shallow drawer unit is made to hold various fixings, accessories and hand tools with an 8L capacity. The dimensions of this TSTAK compatible drawer are 440 x 176 x 314 mm. This shallow TSTAK drawer has draw dividers and metal drawer runners for smooth and reliable operation. This is a 3-in-1 solution that comes with heavy-duty front metal latches and a tracker ready compartment. You also get a shallow box with a long handle and a water sealer organiser alongside the mobile storage box.

Although the ToughSystem is the older storage system DeWalt has on offer it is not as flexible as the TSTAK series. But the ToughSystem has one thing that the TSTAK hasn't and that is durability. ToughSystem products are made to last. Although you won't have as customisable of a storage system, you will definitely see it outlast some of your tools.

But the ToughSystem has seen an upgrade which is now called the ToughSystem 2.0. This makes this DeWalt storage system closer to the TSTAK series when it comes to versatility. The ToughSystem 2.0 is now tracker ready with a 20% larger storage than the original ToughSystem series. There are also metal wire latches present and durable two-piece front latches. You can also use ToughSystem 2.0 products with older ToughSystem products.

Remember that ToughSystem and ToughSystem 2.0 products are the same just the latter are usually more rugged and bigger with some having more advanced features. This is the case with the ToughSystem 2.0 organiser which has a load capacity of 20kg and a volume capacity of 5.2 L.

This ToughSystem 2.0 DeWalt organiser has 6 removable deep cups, an ergonomic carrying handle, and an IP 65 rated water seal.
